— There is no more important role to be played in the home than that of the dining table. It is the Agora at which we gather. An assembly. The podium from which we speak our days truth, and lay bare all we have to share. It is where we take our armor off. And bow our heads collectively with grace. A sacred space and a place set for each of those who could and couldn’t make it. And room enough for the ones we have yet to meet.
