F R A M E D

You said “I love you” to poet.
“Forever” to an artist.
“Always” to an image maker.
This is your penance for your beautiful crime.
Premeditated. You followed through with it.
With white lace line traced beguiling blueprints. Piles of them, rolled up on a folding table. Rubber bands.
Cigarette butts in bottle-caps.
Little black dress-turtlenecks.
Matching toboggan hats.
Secret candle light reconnaissance.
All night red wine stained stakeouts.
“You stole the songs from birds in trees”; sang them as your own.
The innocents, captured, bewildered in there Conibear foot traps.
A bystanders awe.
You cried out “Patsy” in laughter. FRAMED! You shouted.
And so it is.

FRAMED

Grateful for this group; allowing me to see.

c'est la vie

With an effort to redesign a method to create a picture wall, I prototyped a series of interlocking wave form frames from InStudio scrap wood. Then felt it necessary to fill them with an oil Portrait series I made of studio visitors, and memories I’ve collected.
Designed to create and ever ongoing ever changing composition, these frames “spoon” one another, building outward from a central point. Negative framed spaces develop, leaving room to hang object within, or leave blank.
Designed and handmade byJasonKoharik 2021
Currently working on Standard sizes soon to be in production.
