Evoked by the Virtues and the divine competition for hierarchy. Paradoxically when bathed in the light of ultimate good, and therefore ultimate beauty, all life, even purity, organizes itself through ranking and status.
Order even in the absence of chaos.
A throne and a stone, although both equal in their function as a place to sit and rest, somehow one is reserved and revered above the other.
It has been conceived by man, (Dionysius the Areopagite) an “Angelology”— A hierarchy or angles. Though, attributed first to ancient Apocrypha—writings of unknown origin, by keepers of an esoteric knowledge. Within this hierarchy I have found I am most fondly drawn to the VIRTUES, (5th ranking in this recollection). Ruling over blessings, grace, valor, and encouragement of humankind.
Their interaction and evolvement with humanity has been historically described as golden, and shinning. Those most visible to man.
It is with a return to the ancient we become contemporary.
An Eternal Return. Not starting over. Just starting. Perhaps, from the closest proximity of the source.
