ARANEIDAE TABLE LAMP

This collection was evoked by a spider, a web, and guest. Who’s in whose web?
Waxed burnished brass body with intricate laser cut aluminum fringe in custom shock blue and rustic red. Three brass candelabra sockets 120v 40w max. each, with dimmer switch in base. Custom color is available. Designed and handmade by Jason Koharik, 2019. 

The spider, dropping down from twig, 
Unfolds a plan of her devising, 
A thin premeditated rig 
To use in rising. 

And all that journey down through space, 
In cool descent and loyal hearted, 
She spins a ladder to the place 
From where she started. 

Thus I, gone forth as spiders do 
In spider’s web a truth discerning, 
Attach one silken thread to you 
For my returning.
