There is a designated place for your waste, your refuse, your garbage. A place for your bottles and cans, your Amazon Prime boxes, a place for your cuttings and trimmings, your stay at home garden compostables. In my family, as we watched days of the week become solely defined by waste management trucks, we decided to create an Emotional Trash Can. A place for all these feelings. So far the truck driver has not caught on.

The emotional trash. Even the feelings you would be afraid to say out loud. I imagine we all would be surprised just how many people are feeling the same way right now. I will print them out and dispose of them in the Emotional Trash Can. I will place it on the street. A Wednesday in my hood. Perhaps there will be a truck for it. This piece will be for sale. And all money will be donated to A Place To Create — teachers practicing education through love and creativity.
